Day 3 : Zabljak

Free day in the Durmitor National Park.

We suggest the short hike around Lac Noir, a must in this little corner of paradise. From your hotel you reach the entrance of the Durmitor National Park. The tour around the lake offers a grandiose view of the Durmitor Park. One of Montenegro’s must-sees for sure. The landscapes are breathtaking.

Day 4 : Zabljak

Full-day jeep 4×4 exploration tour of the Durmitor National Park. A guided Jeep tour is one of the best ways to cross the park and visit its incredible landscapes. Drive through an attractive natural environment from Zabljak to the Stuoc viewpoint. Climb up to 2,050 m above sea level to reach the Grand Stuoc. From there, the views of the Tara River canyon are breathtaking. It is the deepest in Europe and the second deepest in the world. Then visit the village of Mala Crna Gora, located on the slopes of the Susica River canyon. Another nice break to discover the glacial lake. The passage through these canyons is a special experience, full of adrenaline. At the end of the day, you can still enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding open spaces: Piva River and the lake of the same name. Return to Zabljak.

Day 5 : Zabljak

From one national park to the other: wonderful mountains of Montenegro. Departure from Zabljak to leave the Durmitor, which offers behind you its most beautiful landscapes and breathtaking panoramic views. Arrival at the Durdevica bridge which crosses the Tara canyon. Impressive! Continue south to discover the isolated monastery of Durdevica.

Day 7 : Kolasin

From the northern mountains to the Mouths of Kotor, via Lake Skadar. On the way, the Moraca Canyon offers you a rainbow of colours, while a short cultural break is required at the monastery of the same name. You then take the road to Rijeka Crnojevica via a very narrow road to discover the village and the meanders of the fjord. Arrival in Cetinje, the former capital of the country and still today the cultural capital with its many museums that retrace the national history in particular. You finally enter the Lovcen park. Emotions guaranteed during the winding climb, then at the top when you discover the huge statue of King Petar II Petrovic-Njegos after climbing some 500 steps. The route then leads to the magical Mouths of Kotor via the famous Serpentine, a must for all travellers. Boarding on a small traditional boat for a 2-hour private sailing tour with our local guide on Lake Skadar, a true natural monument straddling Montenegro and Albania. Day 10 : Bay of Kotor

Meeting with your guide to discover Budva on foot, in private service, during 2 hours. The old town is the most beautiful asset of Budva, a sort of mini Dubrovnik with its streets paved with white marble and its ramparts overlooking the clear waters.
