Day 1 : Podgorica

Arrival at Podgorica Airport and first contact with Montenegro. Collection of your vehicle inside the airport. Rental of an economical E-Class vehicle, 4/5 doors , type Chevrolet Aveo or Toyota Yaris , inclusive:

* Basic third party insurance. On the spot the renter will be able to propose you additional insurances if necessary. First emotions in the land of the black mountains. Road to the Ostrog Monastery, a religious monument in the heart of a cliff. Back on the northern road where the first kilometres offer incredible views of the Moraca canyon and promise a beautiful journey. Visit the monastery of the same name. At the end of the day, we continue on to Kolasin, a small town at the foot of the mountains of the Biogradska Gora National Park and an ideal base for visiting the surroundings and hiking. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight in a traditional chalet in the surrounding of the city of Kolasin. Chalet (2 to 6 persons).

Day 2 : Kolasin

Free day in Kolasin. This stage is the starting point for many walks of a few hours, day hikes or treks of several days, in a magnificent natural environment. The 2-hour tour around the Biograska Gora Lake (easy walk) is a must. Private Transfer from xxx to xxx. Night in Katun (traditional shepherd’s hut). Day 3 :

Free walking without a guide in the heart of the Bjelasica massif , a paradise for hikers. From Vranjak, you have the possibility to hike according to your mood of the day. It is recommended that you reach the jagged peaks of Troglava (2,072 m) or Zekova Glava (2,117 m) by going from green pastures to primary forests, one of the last three in Europe. Unless you wish to spend a quieter day, without effort, in the eco village discovering the traditions of the Montenegrin people. Back to Vranjak. Night in Katun (traditional shepherd’s hut). Free day in the Durmitor National Park.

We suggest the short hike around Lac Noir, a must in this little corner of paradise. From your hotel you reach the entrance of the Durmitor National Park. The tour around the lake offers a grandiose view of the Durmitor Park. One of Montenegro’s must-sees for sure. The landscapes are breathtaking.

Day 7 : Zabljak

Full-day jeep 4×4 exploration tour of the Durmitor National Park. A guided Jeep tour is one of the best ways to cross the park and visit its incredible landscapes. Drive through an attractive natural environment from Zabljak to the Stuoc viewpoint. Climb up to 2,050 m above sea level to reach the Grand Stuoc. From there, the views of the Tara River canyon are breathtaking. It is the deepest in Europe and the second deepest in the world. Then visit the village of Mala Crna Gora, located on the slopes of the Susica River canyon. Another nice break to discover the glacial lake. The passage through these canyons is a special experience, full of adrenaline. At the end of the day, you can still enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding open spaces: Piva River and the lake of the same name. Return to Zabljak.

Stops at Lake Piva and then at the monastery of the same name before reaching the Ostrog Monastery, a religious monument in the heart of a cliff, the most beautiful in Montenegro. Day 13 : Bay of Kotor

Sailing tour on the Kotor Fjord, another look at the mountains, for about 2 hours. Today, you discover, from the water, all the Bay of Kotor. Sailing on the fjord is an exciting visual experience. Departure from Kotor and walk to Notre-Dame-du-Rocher opposite Perast, one of the most beautiful places in the bay. Visit of the church and the museum. You can observe the impressive mountains that line the fjord before reaching Perast, a small romantic village nestled on the banks of the fjord. Visit the village freely before returning to Kotor.

Day 14 : Bay of Kotor

Exploration of the Bay of Kotor. Road to Perast and discovery on foot of this small Venetian jewel. Continue to Herceg Novi, its old town and sparkling sea, then road to Budva by crossing the fjord with a ferry (not included). Depending on the timing and your desire, tour of the Lustica peninsula, ideal for swimming. Arrival then to Budva which has a very pleasant city centre and historical alleys, to be discovered during the evening. Return to Kotor. Night in a 4* hotel on the Lustica Peninsula.
